The State IT Agency (SITA) seems to have turned around, showing both revenue and profit increases for its latest financial year.

According to a report in Business Day, the organisation reported a R143,5-m profit on turnover of R3,3-billion.
Acting CEO Peter Pedlar told the newspaper that the organisation has achieved a turnaround and was now adjudicating tenders in an average 78 days – down from the previous six months -and further improvements are in the pipeline.
The SITA Act is under review, as is the organisation's board. It is also looking for a new CEO, following the exit of Mavuso Msimang who is credited with the turnaround.
