Oracle makes it into data warehouse Magic Quadrant

Oracle has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Data Warehouse Database Management Systems, 2007 report.

Gartner defines leaders as performing well today, having a clear vision of market direction and actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.
“In my opinion, Oracle’s position in the leaders quadrant recognises Oracle’s strength in data warehousing,” sayd Willie Hardie, vice-president of Database roduct Marketing, Oracle.  “Oracle is committed to providing customers a robust platform to efficiently develop and deploy systems that can easily scale out at low cost, from small data marts to multi-terabyte data warehouses.”
Oracle Database 11g is a comprehensive database foundation for data warehousing and business intelligence that combines industry-leading scalability and performance, deeply-integrated analytics, and embedded integration and data-quality capabilities to support customers’ most demanding ad hoc query, reporting, online analytics and data mining requirements.  
Oracle data warehouse products consist of Oracle Database 11g, with Oracle Partitioning, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle Data Mining, Oracle OLAP, and Oracle Warehouse Builder Data Quality, Enterprise ETL, and Connectors.
