Long-time local SAS Institute partner Sasuka has finalised its participation in the business intelligence giant¹s, global reseller programme.  The signing of this agreement follows a more than 10-year relationship between SAS and Sasuka.

Sam Tsitsi Motsumi, MD of Sasuka, comments: "We are very proud to become a member of the SAS global reseller programme. The programme is something that as a long term partner of SAS we are very excited to see come to fruition.  The fact that SAS has launched the programme means that, as a vendor, SAS listens to the needs of its partners.
"As a member of the programme, Sasuka brings the full functionality of SAS's leading Business Intelligence (BI) including data integration, business intelligence and analytics applications to the broader South African market place," he adds.
Sasuka specialises in the delivery of services supporting the full roll-out of business intelligence, including data quality management, BI and analytics, business integration and consulting services, training and development, with particular BI domain leadership in the South African public sector.
Nathalie Ing, strategic alliance manager at SAS Institute South Africa, says: "We are delighted to welcome Sasuka on board as a global reseller of SAS. Sam and his team have always been loyal supporters of the SAS BI Solutions and as a wholly owned black company, it forms a quintessential part of SAS South Africa's commitment to BEE business partners.  We look forward to working with Sasuka to further its footprint into the local market, with renewed commitment and a host of additional benefits.
"Within the context of the new reseller programme we are committed to assisting our partners with unmatched profit potential, flexible programme choices, increased marketing opportunities and the competitive advantage of offering a complete proven BI solution, already the number one choice of the market place and industry analysts," she adds.
