HP's partners are happy with the IT vendor, according to the results of HP's latest Total Partner Experience (TPE) survey, its largest channel feedback programme that generates responses from partners in 24 countries across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
The survey results help HP to prioritise areas where it needs to focus to make it even easier for partners to do business with HP.
Seven out of 10 respondents are satisfied with their overall relationship with HP, while 93,4% would recommend HP over a competitive vendor. This shows an increase from the previous survey.
According to the survey, 77,8% of respondents anticipate an increase in volume of HP’s products and services relative to competitors. More than 70% of respondents found it very easy to do business with HP, and 78,4% of respondents said that HP’s Preferred Partner Programme impacts positively on their profitability as a channel partner.
“We are very pleased to see an increase in our partners’ overall satisfaction ratings and will continue to improve upon these ratings. Our partners’ feedback forms a critical part of the continued evolution of HP’s Preferred Partner Programme,” says Mark Perry, country manager for HP’s Solutions Partner Organisation.
HP’s Certified Professional Programme has been effective in helping to increase product and solution sales. The survey indicated that the top loyalty drivers were special pricing requests and lead generation activities and to this end, HP will continue to focus efforts on improving partner satisfaction in these areas.
The next survey will be conducted during February 2008.
