The South African contact centre industry has experienced accelerated growth since 2005 and this growth has carried over to the contact centre technology and equipment suppliers market. This has stimulated intense competition, with more than 200 operators currently supplying to the industry.
Within this market, Frost & Sullivan has identified 25 key participants that are building strong positions for themselves. This briefing will discuss the strategies that these leading operators employ in relation to the key drivers and opportunities in this sector.
The discussion will benefit current contact centre solutions and equipment providers that are looking to expand their operations to this market and benchmark their strategies against their competitors. Other businesses active in the contact centre industry will also benefit from insights into the current state of the market and future technology trends.
"The high growth in small to micro contact centre operations in South Africa presents a highly lucrative but under-serviced market,” notes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Spiwe Chireka. “Contact centre equipment suppliers need to rethink their strategies to address this sector."
