Swedish police have arrested the man who claims to have carried out the hack of the year, raiding his apartment and confiscating computers.

During August, Dan Egerstad says he intercepted and gained access to about 1 000 e-mail accounts from embassies around the world.
He informed the governments about the insecurity of their networks and, when none of them responded, published 100 of the mail accounts on his Web site.
Egerstad believes he has acted within the law as he used tools that are freely available to hack the network; and says the accounts are probably compromised anyway.
