Unisys has appointed Dick Tilley as vice-president and GM for emerging markets, covering the company’s Africa, Eurasia and Middle East (AEME) regions. In addition, Kevin Fynn has been named vice-president and GM for Unisys in Africa, reporting directly to Tilley.

Tilley will be responsible for overall management of operations for each of the AEME regions, working closely with leaders in each country.
Tilley currently leads Unisys business for Eurasia and the Middle East, which he has managed since 1999.  He will continue in this role while assuming expanded responsibilities for the full portfolio of Unisys services and solutions in Africa.  He will remain a member of the UK’s Theatre Management team and will work closely with Unisys Business Unit heads in driving growth across all of the company’s strategic programmes.
Kevin Fynn will manage the country operations in Africa and will be responsible for the overall leadership of the business and employees in the region. In this role, Fynn will also be an executive director of Unisys Africa, and a member of the board of Unisys Africa.
The position carries responsibility not only for sales and operations but also for the growth, staffing and development of the organisation across the full portfolio of Unisys’ services. Fynn will co-ordinate the go-to-market approach across the businesses, co-ordinate the collective effort to meet client needs and have ultimate oversight for the profitable revenue growth of the business.
“I am delighted to appoint both Tilley and Fynn to these key strategic roles," says Unisys vice-president and MD Duncan Tait.
"Their combined reputations, business experience and market knowledge will enable them to work together to accelerate the growth of our African business."
