Toureagle.com shows the future in road trip planning

A new tool to research road trips poised to transform the way people plan their vacations was launched this week, with South Africa as the first destination.

www.toureagle.com, which will soon also include Ireland, (including Northern Ireland) and England, is the brainchild of South African entrepreneur Pierre Kleinhans. Toureagle.com is an online trip planner that instantly develops comprehensive, custom-made, itineraries between two destinations.
Tornado Tour Systems plans to rollout Toureagle.com globally in the next 24 months.
By entering little more than a starting point, how many kilometres you want to drive at a time and a few of your favourite activities, www.toureagle.com will generate several different itineraries custom made to your specifications. The itineraries include an extensive list of accommodation choices, available activities, restaurants and much more.
Tornado plans to expand into a global organisation through regional subsidiaries. The first of these is Toureagle SA Limited, which earns advertising revenue from the South African, England, Ireland and Northern Ireland content on Toureagle.com.
Toureagle.com’s itineraries include overnight stays in towns outside the main tourist centres, spreading the benefits of tourism off the beaten track.
Toureagle.com has a user-friendly index of activity providers available on the internet. Although activity providers are listed free of charge, they can also increase their visibility by paying on a per click basis. Toureagle.com’s online database of activity providers is the most comprehensive and organised available to travellers, from elephant back riding to skydiving, it links travellers directly to activity providers along every route.
Toureagle.com can also plan trips specifically around activities. If your interests are whale watching and hiking, Toureagle.com can provide a selection of itineraries combining these two activities.
