Google co-founder parties up a storm

Google co-founder Larry Page undoubtedly partied up a storm this weekend when he married Lucy Southworth on a tropical island – wind and rains battered the area, developing into a post-seasonal tropical storm.

The 600 guests, who included Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bono, were battered by 65km per hour winds and rain on Saturday before the weather developed into a full-blown storm.
There is a blanket of secrecy over the wedding, which took place on Richard Branson's Necker Island, part of the British Virgin Islands. Guests were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements.
The hotel that housed most of the guests said they were all safe although it wasn't clear whether they had managed to leave the island before the storm struck.
Page, who co-founded Google with classmate Sergey Brin, is estimated to be worth about $21-billion.
