HP Preferred Partner scoops SMB award

HP Preferred Partner, iLembe Technologies, has been named "Business Entrepreneur of 2007" by the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Standard Bank. The initiative is aimed at recognising and acknowledging the contributions of small and medium sized companies in kwaZulu-Natal.

iLembe Technologies, a Durban based provider of holistic IT solutions opened its doors in 2005. The company consists of 12 staff and is predominantly driven by women.
For the awards, 11 finalists were selected from 84 nominations and divided into two categories, according to company turnover. The finalists were selected based on certain criteria, which included empowerment, turnover growth, profit growth, job creation and skills development.
“iLembe has achieved a phenomenal level of growth and this award highlights its commendable performance,” says Mark Perry, SPO Manager, HP RSA. “We will continue to invest in our Preferred Partners to help them grow their business.”
