New graphics cards from Gigabyte

Gigabyte United has announced its latest GV-RX38 Series graphics cards, the GV-RX387512H and GV-RX385512H, built on the ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series GPU.

The new GPU uses the latest 55-nanometer graphics processing technology, providing maximum performance and setting new clock speed and memory speed records for tomorrow’s demanding applications, while utilising less power than previous generation graphics technologies.
Featuring PCI Express 2.0 support and DirectX 10.1 GPU, the Gigabyte GV-RX38 Series are designed with Gigabyte Ultra Durable 2 Technology, which continues to lead the industry for top quality component design.
The Gigabyte GV-RX387512H and GV-RX385512H are equipped with 512Mb of 256-bit GDDR3 memory and feature PCI Express 2.0 compatibility with up to twice the throughput of current PCI Express cards.
The Gigabyte GV-RX38 Series also allows for easy ATI CrossFireX scalability, providing high bandwidth multi-GPU interconnectivity to enhance graphics rendering and turbo-charge your 3D performance.
In addition, built-in HDMI and 5.1 surround audio is supported for the playing of HDCP content protected media including Blu-ray and HD DVD.
Equipped with the world’s latest DirectX 10.1 GPU, the Gigabyte GV-RX38 Series extends the scope of a GPU beyond traditional graphics to support Shader Model 4.1 for life-like realism and stunning 3D gaming effects, allowing users to completely immerse themselves in a total HD gaming experience.
