Annex Distribution launches online service for dealers

Annex Distribution has announced the launch of www.annex.co.za, the company’s new corporate website that also serves as an exclusive business and trade facility for registered dealers.

Wayne Britz, director at Annex Distribution, says the website is a front-end value-add to the company’s expanding dealer base because it serves as a convenient, ‘always-on’ facility through which to fully manage orders.
“Once registered, dealers can use the website to place orders and manage the entire process without having to discuss or negotiate offline. They have access to back-end information such as the latest price lists, product availability and specifications, features and other marketing material,” he says.
According to Britz the online service will eliminate any possibility of delays in product ordering, support and delivery.
“The dealer now has a comprehensive view of the order management process. If there are any hiccups, the user will know immediately and will see exactly when and where the holdup has occurred,” Britz continues.
The Annex Distribution product portfolio includes technology from a number of internationally established vendors such as BenQ, Intel Corporation and Fujitsu Siemens Computers. It continues to target the corporate and digital lifestyle sectors, with specific attention to server infrastructure, mobile & wireless technology and lifestyle gadgets including gaming.
The company is currently focused on entrenching itself within the retail space and the new dealer site is a timely project that is expected to support the company’s presence in the market.
“We do provide a supply chain solution for the gaming sector. We have in stock the latest gaming consoles and other equipment,” adds Britz.
New products are shipped in on a regular basis and there is a high level of competition to secure stock at the right price. Dealers have to position themselves accordingly.
Britz says the dealer base has grown significantly and there is particular interest in securing next generation mobile/wireless and digital lifestyle product.
“Our mandate is to assist our dealers as much as possible to ensure that they receive product with little hassle and no delay. We believe the new website offering will add substantial value to the process,” he adds.
