Canon SA has introduced the PIXMA MX850, an Office All-In-One with print, copy, scan and fax capability. Replacing the MP830, the new printer features a 1pl (picolitre) 9600dpi FINE print engine with additional SoHo (Small office, Home office) functionality.

With auto duplex scan and copy, Ethernet connectivity and a high-speed ADF loadable up to 35 sheets, PIXMA MX850 offers improved efficiency and ease-of-use to South African SoHos.
The PIXMA MX850 also includes a number of enhancements such as: Quick Start which enables users to start a copy approximately 5 seconds after power up; and Auto Image Fix that improves the quality of photographs using face detection and scene analysis to optimise areas such as face tone and brightness, colour fogging and over/under exposure.
Photographs can also be transferred directly to the printer from cameras and similar devices using the memory card slots (compatible with most popular formats) or via Bluetooth (with an optional adaptor) or PictBridge.
“The MX850’s print quality and speed are ideal for South African SoHo environments, plus with photo printing engine these businesses also benefit from the additional versatility of photo lab quality printing,” says Abri Kriegler, product manager at Canon Consumer Imaging SA.
