Absa has joined hands with domestic airline 1time to launch an in-flight banking service on selected flights departing from Johannesburg and Cape Town. This will give passengers the ability to do their banking during what is often considered as lost and wasted time. 

Absa will initially test the customers’ responses to this new value adding service over a three-week period with an Absa personal banker serving customers on board the airline. These personal bankers will discuss with customers about how Absa can best serve their financial needs, complete applications and deal with enquiries.
