Microsoft has issued an e-mail outlining how it envisages a possible takeover of Yahoo panning out.

Although it was sent to Microsoft employees, the missive seemed aimed at making Yahoo employees more supportive of a Microsoft buy-out going through.
The e-mail, from Kevin Johnson, head of Microsoft's Platforms & Services Division, said that many of Yahoo's 13 300 employees would continue to work for the company after a takeover.
This would be good news to Yahoo employees since the company recently started cutting 1 000 jobs. Microsoft, on the other hand, is busy expanding its workforce.
Johnson added that Microsoft would retain and build the Yahoo brand, and would work with the company in a collaborative and inclusive way.
