Dell has posted lower profits for the fourth quarter and also cautioned that spending could slow down going forward. 

For the quarter ended 1 February, Dell earned $679-million, down from $726-million for the same period last year.
Although sales increased by 10,2% to $15,99-billion, it was below the $16,27-billion that had been anticipated.
For the full year, Dell earned $2,95-billion, up $2,58-billion from the year before. Revenue for the year was up 6,5% to $61,13-billion.
