CSSI wins PivotStor distribution

Computer Storage Services (CSSI) will begin offering PivotStor products to its resellers customers, for resale to end users throughout South Africa.

The announcement is consistent with PivotStor’s strategy of identifying and partnering with leading data storage vendors throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. PivotStor delivers data protection products providing mid- and large-sized firms with best-of-breed data protection, coupled with proven reliability and cost-effective performance.

PivotStor recently introduced its AP line of tape libraries, designed to provide reliable, automated data protection for organizations that require affordable unattended data protection, and have outgrown the capabilities of entry-level tape autoloaders.
Offering cost effectiveness not available in most tape automation, PivotStor’s AP libraries can more easily free-up valuable IT resources, further minimise human error, backup more data quickly, and generate offsite archive copies of corporate-critical data to meet growing data retention requirements, and reinforce companies’ business continuity plans.
