Nortel South Africa has recognised Business Connexion (BCX) as its Gold Partner of the Year for 2007 based on the outstanding business performance and significant revenue contribution achieved by the company. This is the fourth year in a row that Business Connexion has won this prestigious award.

The Nortel Gold Partner Programme is the highest level of accreditation achievable for Nortel channel partners. The programme is designed to identify companies that have proven their commitment and expertise in delivering Nortel solutions.
Business Connexion’s Nortel product manager, Erastus Matodzi, won the Nortel Product Manager of the Year Award, for his outstanding contribution, dedication and commitment to Business Connexion and Nortel.
“The award is given to the most successful product manager in South Africa who has made a major contribution to creating Nortel market exposure and in generating revenue,” says Nortel country manager Magda Engelbrecht.
Commenting on winning the awards, Brian Tarr, managing executive at Business Connexion Networks, says: “We are proud of our strategic partnership with Nortel that spans over 18 years.  Our certifications, specialisations, superior technical and integration skills and continued focus on Nortel, have clearly differentiated us in this space.”
Tarr adds that the cornerstone of Business Connexion’s success is its passionate people.
“With consistent dedication to excellence in integration and customisation, Business Connexion remains the Nortel partner of choice in sub-Saharan Africa. We are proud to be the winner for 2007 and we look forward to continuing this success in the future.”
