Facebook, which last year launched an advertising scheme whereby users would become unwitting product champions, now boasts a new application that will offer Facebook users a commission if they sell products to their friends.

Market Lodge offers Facebook members a 10% commission on all sales resulting from them recommending products to their friends.
Facebook's earlier advertising scheme faced huge caklash from users and privacy groups, and they now have the option to turn it off.
The new system allows Facebook users to set up their own online stores, with products from participating vendors, and they then invite their friends to visit and – hopefully – buy.
Facebook currently has about 67-million users, although usage is starting to tail off in some markets.
