Business Connexion has achieved the much coveted Avaya Platinum status. The company has a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions for many of Africa¹s most successful public and private sector organisations.

"We have had a phenomenal start to the year, with the successful implementations of numerous contact centre and IP telephony projects and the awarding of business from several high profile clients," says Luis Silva, Avaya product manager at Business Connexion. "To meet Avaya¹s requirements and criteria Business Connexion has invested in a focussed effort to increase its level of Avaya sales and support capabilities."
Avaya and Business Connexion have shared a long and mutually beneficial relationship, and Platinum Status is the culmination of this successful partnership. The Platinum certification from Avaya shows that Business Connexion has achieved a globally prescribed set of international quality and technical criteria.  These criteria include: technical competence, product knowledge and support for the full range of Avaya offerings.
"This certification demonstrates our commitment to Avaya's strategy going forward and our desire to develop expertise in the new world of complex technologies," says Silva. "Avaya Platinum status is proof that the partnership between Business Connexion and Avaya continues to grow from strength to strength."
The Avaya Business Partner certification program has three levels of distinction Silver, Gold and Platinum.  Of these Platinum is the highest accreditation and thus the most sought after by Avaya business partners the world over.
"We believe that Business Connexion can add tremendous value to Avaya's business in the region,² concludes Bridget Kelly, Avaya country manager for sub-Saharan Africa. "They have solid skills in the applications space and understand the managed services arena; these are the skills the market is after."
