MTN has issued amendments to some of the figures released yesterday, and also announced the resignation of two directors.
The company this morning declared that its EBITDA increased year on year by 27,3% to R25,1-billion – yesterday's announcement was 42% to R31,8-billion.
In terms of the income statement, Ghana and Syria generated revenues of R3,8-billion and R4,6 billion respectively.
Subscriber numbers for South Africa at 31 December 2007 totalled 14,799-million, MTN says today.
Meanwhile, Peter Woicke and Dr Mamphela Ramphele have both resigned from the board, with effect from Tuesday, 18 March 2008.
