IndigoCube, a systems modernisation, software lifecycle and business analysis specialist, has been awarded the IBM Rational Excellence in Software Delivery award for its outstanding achievements at the 2007 IBM Business Partner Recognition Awards.

The aim of the IBM awards is to celebrate and honour companies that have achieved significant excellence.
“IndigoCube is IBM’s number one Rational partner in South Africa, achieving the highest number of quality Rational software deliveries,” says Ziaan Hattingh, MD of IndigoCube.
Rational is an IBM software development platform that improves the speed, quality and predictability of software projects.
“We have 15 people certified in that environment,” says Themi Themistocleous, chairman of IndigoCube. “We’re the only Rational partner with all the IBM Rational solutions registered under the IBM Value Advantage Plus programme. This fits in with our motto to be 'the best of the best' in what we specialise in."
Although this is the first time that IndigoCube has won this award; the title was previously awarded when aspects of the company operated under a different banner.
Other award winners for the evening included Business Connexion, Accenture and Faritec.
“IndigoCube is one of IBM South Africa’s smallest Premier business partner companies, but one of the highest skilled with over 26 IBM certifications,” says Hattingh. “This award is based on the quality of the solutions delivered to customers, the level of skill and the amount of revenue generated, proving that we have a highly skilled team of hard-working  people who produce excellent results. It is a great honour for us to receive such recognition.”
