AirLive's WN-5000 range, optimised for today's wireless environments, is now available in SA to resellers that wish to capitalise on the ever-increasing demand for wireless networking environments.

Nology, a distributing agent of broadband networking solutions, is sub-distributing this product through Drive Control Corporation (DCC) providing the local market with a channel to purchase the product.  Incorporating the latest Wi-Fi standard 802.11n (Draft 2), the range features a wireless PCI adapter, wireless router and wireless USB adapter.
The WN-5000 products allow super fast speeds of up to 300Mbps, allowing for high-speed wireless desktop connectivity. The devices also use MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology to provide extended range and wider coverage.
The PCI adapter and wireless routers, for example, deliver six times faster throughout than standard 802.11g devices.
"The WN-5000 series offers the latest in wireless technology that includes improved throughput while incorporating MIMO. This provides resellers with the opportunity to offer customers network speeds that can even exceed wired networks," says Riaan Leuschner, MD of Nology.
Additionally, the wireless router offers 4 LAN ports that allow users to add more than one wired device for sharing purposes. Users can also store photos, files, music, videos and link to printers with the AirLive WN-5000USB.
The WN-5000 series also incorporates AirLive's 2 transmitter 3 receiver (2T3R) technology that offers cost-effective, wireless connectivity at high throughput over an extended range. Additionally, an optimised Radio Frequency architecture and baseband algorithm provide enhanced network performance.
