Annex Distribution has released the BenQ 24-inch wide (G2400W) LCD monitor to the local market. The solution supports D-sub, DVI-D, HDMI input connections.

The BenQ G2400W LCD is the latest solution to emerge from the vendor’s extensive G-Series range of digital lifestyle and communication product.
Key technical specifications include a response time of 5ms with high resolution pictures (1920×1200) and a pixel pitch of 0.27mm.
The solution also incorporates a number of features that are designed to enhance the viewing experience, including the technology vendor’s exclusive Senseye technology.
Senseye technology provides the user with four pre-set modes – Standard, Dynamic, Movie and Photo – allowing for different usage scenarios.
The product also features Senseye + Photo, an enhanced version of the technology that supports sRGB colour space, which is an industry-wide advancement to achieve consistency in image when they are displayed and manipulated on monitors.
“The combination of rapid response time and innovation in image display and manipulation guarantees crisp, clear and smooth images. The real advantage is that this level of consistency and clarity in image is not reserved for still images alone, it is particularly evident with video or motion picture format,” says Wayne Britz, director at Sahara.
“Due to its high resolution and response time, there is no risk of blurring, ghosting or other factors that would disrupt or spoil the viewing experience,” adds Britz.
Another interesting and practical feature of this series of monitors is the fact that, when combined with a notebook, the monitors can extend the desktop working area. This added functionality allows the user to view multiple documents simultaneously and increase productivity says Britz.
Annex Distribution is committed to the storage and distribution of product that conforms to environmental consideration and ergonomic values. The BenQ G2400W LCD is Energy Star-certified thus minimizing its impact on the environment and lowering power consumption.
Other characteristics of the product that differentiates it in the market include Kensington Lock, wall mounting feature and 72% colour gamut and Vista Premium Certification.
“This solution will be an asset to any sized organization, including the small-to-medium environment,” adds Britz.
The BenQ G2400W LCD is available through the company’s reseller network, at a recommended retail price of R4 999.00 including VAT.
