Black-owned software solutions provider Abnoba has become a certified Microsoft Dynamics Business Solutions Partner as it looks to expand its business within the medium to large business sector in South Africa.

Abnoba, which is 100% black-owned with 50% black female ownership, says the certification follows Abnoba’s extension of its existing portfolio to include Microsoft’s Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) .This ensures interoperability between applications such as ERP, SharePoint, RightFax, Teleform and Mobility.
“Abnoba is committed to developing innovative solutions that make business and people communication easier and more cost-efficient,” says Abnoba CEO Fairoz Jaffer. “We provide business solutions that improve productivity and reduce operational costs – ultimately improving profitability.”
Shanaaz Scharffenorth, Abnoba’s operations director, says that as a Microsoft Certified Partner, the company has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and reiterated its proven ability to understand and meet customer needs.
“The common challenge for organisations is not only to achieve high levels of service but also manage customer experience. Our experience with the public and private sectors highlights this business need,” says Scharffenorth.
CRM satisfies the need to manage both customer relationships and communication in one place, enabling users to utilise familiar desk top tools like Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook. It also improves operations efficiencies through standardization and streaming of processes, making it a natural fit in the customer’s business environment.
Abnoba will be looking to leverage business using Microsoft’s recently launched Dynamics CRM 4.0, which gives customers unprecedented flexibility in the way they source, deploy and use mission-critical business software by offering either a traditional on-premise solution, a web-based on-demand solution, or as a flexible mix of on-premise software and on-demand services.
The new release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM has been in extensive use over the past year by more than 600 partners around the world and more than 100 early access customers representing a broad range of on-premise, partner-hosted and Microsoft-hosted deployments.
“When customers want to implement Microsoft technologies, they turn to a specialist,” says Jumana Helal, Dynamics business group executive at Microsoft SA. “Using technologies like Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Abnoba will be able to deliver on Microsoft’s software plus services strategy and provide our CRM solutions with a great user experience and exceptional business value.”
