Pinnacle Micro has joined the campaign to save on power by launching a company-wide power saving imitative to reduce consumption at each branch.
The company – part of the listed Pinnacle Technology Holdings (PTH) group – aims to save at least 20% over a three month period at each of the branches, says Tim Humphreys-Davies, national sales and marketing director of Pinnacle Micro.
“In terms of the campaign we have identified an ‘energy champion’ at each branch. The energy champion that manages to reduce the power by the biggest margin at the end of June receives an LCD flat screen for their own use. With the current Eskom power crisis the more companies that can save on energy consumption the better for all – and we will also, naturally, be saving some costs.”
