"This range of products continues to support our mission to provide value added products that have excellent market potential for our channel."
“Initially the products will be available in the four most popular languages, namely, Italian, French, German and Spanish but Transparent Language also have over 100 different languages and we expect to introduce a wider variety over time as the market demands, particularly those with a more African flavour," adds Phillips.
John Eckert director of worldwide sales at Transparent Language, says “I am very excited to be partnering with Phoenix Software in South Africa. In addition to the more common world languages, our goal is to provide Phoenix with new language learning software tools for South African languages in the near future."
The Transparent Language Now computer-based product enables learners to take basic vocabulary and quickly progress to more advanced comprehension and use. Grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, pronunciation skills, and more are emphasized through the use of native language texts, videos and stories that immerse the user in the foreign language investigation, skill building and role play.
The product will be available through major retail chains in South Africa and will retail for about R399,99.
