A South Korean scientist has cloned a sniffer dog, creating seven puppies which will soon start work as sniffer dogs in their own right.

Scientist Lee Byung-Chun had previously been part of the team that cloned an Afghan Hound, and the latest project is one behalf of the Korea Customs Service.
The cloned pups, named Toppy (Tomorrow's Puppy), were produced from the somatic cells of a Golden Retriever.
They are apparently proving much easier to train than regular sniffer dogs.
