New director for TeleMasters

TeleMasters has announced the appointment of Jaco Voight, most recently MD of Vox Telecom, as independent non-executive director, with effect from 12 May 2008.

Jaco Voight holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from University of the Orange Free State and is the founder of PerfectWorx Consulting, a specialist consulting business providing professional services to communication operators entering the Next Generation Network realm. PerfectWorx Consulting currently provides services to a wide range of players in the telecoms industry, ranging from incumbent operators to various VANS operators.

Currently one of the fastest-growing business communication strategy companies in South Africa, TeleMasters was established in 1996. After 10 years of operation it has accumulated 2 500 clients, is staffed by a compliment of 30 employees and supported by a network of 106 active dealers, reinforcing strong reach across South Africa.

Voight began his career in the communications industry at DataPro in 1998 and held various management positions in the organisation, culminating as founder and MD of VoxTelecom, a pioneer in South African VoIP service provision.
“Voight has particularly strong industry experience, and within that context has a great entrepreneurial background,” concludes Pretorius. “This is the sort of skills mix that will add real value to TeleMasters.
