Mike Magee, founder of IT website icons The Register and The Inquirer, has officially launched his third Web news service from Bangalore in India.

The new title – www.itexaminer.com – is still undergoing tweaks as development is ongoing, but fans of Magee's acid wit and uncanny knack for breaking stories the IT industry would prefer stay hidden, won't be disappointed.
With two full-time journalists in Bangalore and a host of freelancers, IT Examiner will offer extensive coverage of the industry and business in the region, as well as international stories as and when they break.
Magee's renown in creating nom de plumes such as Adamson Rust (Nostradamus) and Eva Glass (Las Vegas) on the Inquirer also seems set to continue. Or is Padma Kolumnout a genuine hack?
