McAfee has appointed Trevor Coetzee as channel manager for Africa.
Coetzee joins McAfee from the network security channel, where he has spent six years in a number of commercial roles.
Coetzee joins McAfee with the objective of working strategically with partners to grow and develop an account portfolio that will generate substantial revenue for both McAfee and its partners. He believes that channel partners, including distributors and resellers, play a vital role in these objectives, due to their intimate knowledge and understanding of the local market.
"Building relationships with new partners and distributors, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with McAfee’s current partners, will enable us to work together to create a dynamic business channel, which will allow for faster adoption of new technologies and greater deployment of McAfee’s current solutions," says Coetzee.
