MicroStrategy has announced a new partner programme developed locally by MicroStrategy channel manager Sandy Redgate and Gary Broomberg, country manager, specifically for the South African market.
MicroStrategy launched its business in South Africa at the end of 2006 with a direct and indirect go-to-market strategy. Direct sales are handled through an internal sales force and indirect sales are through channel partners.
The 2008 MicroStrategy Partner Programme will allow channel partners to forge a foundation for a strong relationship with MicroStrategy. In addition, the programme will introduce technology training resources to facilitate successful deployments.
Redgate says that she is overwhelmed at the response and positive take up to the launch of the 2008 programme and is looking forward to working alongside new and existing channel partners.
Broomberg agrees, saying that the potential opportunity to maximise revenue through the direct and indirect model can jointly increase shared revenue streams.
