McAfee's Security Alliance partners have been awarded in excess of  €1-million figure for claims associated with product sales from McAfee Rewards, McAfee’s EMEA partner incentive programme.

Since the start of 2008, the McAfee Rewards programme has received a huge boost in the number of new registrations with McAfee seeing a 48% increase in channel partners:
* Nearly a quarter (21.3%) of recent new partner registrations have come from Turkey, where registrations have more than doubled in Q4 2007 alone;
* Italy still holds the top spot for the overall number of McAfee Rewards partners with 313 members, closely followed by the UK with 251 members and Spain with 131 members.
Since re-launching the programme at the start of 2007, there has been a marked increase in the number and value of rewards that McAfee has paid out to partners:
* Channel partners in the UK are leading the way for the number of claims submitted –helped by a reseller from  Trustmarque Solutions in York, who made the highest value claim submitted by an individual in Q1 2008;
* Partners in Germany are holding the second spot for the number of claims submitted, closely followed by The Netherlands;
* An individual representative from Medusoft in The Netherlands has submitted the highest number of claims so far in 2008;
* Caretower in London is currently the top channel partner for the number of claims submitted by a company this year;
* Spanish partners nearly doubled their number of claims from October to December 2007 alone; and
* Dynamic Recovery Services in South Africa continues to hold the top spot for the highest value of claims since programme inception across EMEA.
Under the programme, channel partner’s rewards are credited to their McAfee Rewards pre-paid debit card.  This allows partners to spend their rewards in any world-wide store that accepts VISA Electron payments (including online stores) giving partners the flexibility to spend their rewards on whatever they want.
In addition,  McAfee awards the best performing partners a travel incentive – which most recently saw 18 partners travel to South Africa for a five-day, action-packed experience.  The trip included a day sight-seeing around Table Mountain, shark diving and wine tasting in Cape Town and a private, open-top safari adventure.
Robert Brown, executive director of sales at Dynamic Recovery Services SA, says: “We had a fantastic time getting to know the other McAfee resellers from around the world in our own back yard.  It’s been great to see a bunch of new faces on these trips and it also gives us the opportunity to catch up with old friends.  The McAfee Rewards scheme works well as we instantly see the fruit of our sales efforts and we get to take part in unique and fun activities that we wouldn’t usually get the time or opportunity to do.”
