A Singaporean teenager has been banned from owning a camera phone for a year after he was found guilty of filming a woman in a public toilet.
Reuters says that 19-year-old Samuel Ong sneaked into the ladies' loo at Changi Airport and used his camera phone to snap shots of a woman from under the cubicle door. The woman somehow managed to snare Ong – we're not too sure how – and handed him over to police.
The budding paparazzo pleaded guilty to charges and was ordered to do 60 hours of community service, observe a curfew and continue psychiatric treatment in addition to his camera phone ban.
His parents also had to sign a S$5 000 bond ensuring his good behaviour.
