Enterasys Networks, distributed locally by Duxbury Networking, is to hold a training programme in South Africa, hosted by an internationally-acclaimed lecturer and targeted at its channel partners and resellers.
A highlight of the two, two-day courses which comprise the programme is in-depth instruction in the techniques used to identify business opportunities and close sales ahead of the competition when switching, routing, wireless and network management products are involved in proposed solutions, says Martin May, Enterasys Networks SA country manager.
The programme, which will be held in Johannesburg between 23 and 26 June 2008, will be headed by Curtis Quinby, the leading Enterasys US-based training specialist.
"The courses will focus on improving the skills of sales and customer service personnel in dealerships throughout South Africa," says May.
"Successful participants will receive internationally recognised Enterasys Sales Expert certificates, allowing them to fulfil their obligations as Enterasys-authorised partners.
"Within the courses, participants will also be exposed to advanced security solutions offered by Enterasys and knowledge of how they interoperate with other products to resolve 'real-world' customer problems.
"The training programme will also provide insights into how Enterasys users can meet compliance requirements, whether government-mandated, industry-driven or customer-specific," he adds.
