CareerJunction has registered the one-millionth user on its online recruitment portal.

The achievement is testimony to the ever increasing trend of online job searching in South Africa, says Kris Jarzebowski, CEO of CareerJunction.
Mandla Mamba of Johannesburg became the one-millionth person to register on the site and received an iPod Shuffle to mark the event. He works within the retail industry, but hopes to pursue a successful career in engineering which is his chosen field of study.
On average, CareerJunction advertises over 40 000 job ads per month on behalf of its clients, attracts around 340 000 unique visitors per month and generates in excess of 15-million page impressions over the same period.
CareerJunction also provides an average 10:1 return on clients’ investment.
“In this day and age, people are becoming more used to transacting and interacting on the internet and using online methods as one of the many channels to find a job. Users are also a lot more comfortable with registering and storing their Resumes in an online format and using this to apply for jobs online,” says Jarzebowski.
He explains that the advantage of having an online resume over a traditional CV is that it is easily searchable by recruiters.
CareerJunction provides search access to legitimate Recruitment Agencies and has over 1 000 top recruiters using its powerful technology and advertising jobs to the largest pool of quality candidates in South Africa.
