Packard Bell wins five major European awards
Packard Bell, one of the leading technology brands in Europe, has won five prestigious Plus X Awards. The Plus X Awards are an annual event in the world of consumer goods, held this year in Germany.
The Plus X Award acknowledges products that deliver technological excellence in four areas — innovation, design, ease of use and ecology – in the following categories: household items, IT, consumer electronics, power tools as well as mobile and photo technology.
Packard Bell was rewarded for its achievements in innovation, usability and design and was voted “the most innovative brand” in the IT category. This is the second year in a row that the company has received this award.
The compact Packard Bell imax desktop won an award for “innovation and usability”, the EasyNote BG Limited Edition and Easynote SB Limited Edition white notebooks were recognised for “design”, and the ultraportable EasyNote XS was singled out for “usability”.
“The coveted “most innovative brand 2008” prize is a particular honour for Packard Bell, paying tribute to its ongoing commitment to providing intelligently designed, easy to use products in the IT category,” says Packard Bell country manager Eric Wijnen.
The Plus X Award is Europe’s biggest technology, sports and lifestyle contest.
Award winners are authorised to use the Plus X Award logo as a seal of quality on their packaging and communications.
