Stephen Moore has joined Workgroup to head up the company's CommVault
According to Moore, he joined Workgroup because of its image as a respected,
dynamic organisation that boasts a strong business model and a healthy
respect for the channel.
Moore's background includes a stint in operations management at Acer Africa
and was partner in the creation of Jokers Wild Productions. "As CommVault
product manager, I've been tasked with promoting the CommVault brand,
increase market share and set up a solid client base," he says. "A large
part of this will be maintaining strong relationships with our partners,
ensuring they are up to speed on the product offering and the value add it
brings to South African end users."
Moore believes his background, attention to detail and solid understanding
of what the market needs and expects from a distributor will assist in
solidifying CommVault as a software offering to be reckoned with.
Shirley Gottschick, infrastructure GM and executive director at Workgroup
believes that Moore's strengths lie in his operations management and says
that his experience at Jokers Wild will ensure that Moore's customer base
will receive the levels of service they've come to expect from Workgroup as
"We admire Moore's hands-on approach and believe that he will bring new
ideas and fresh perspectives to the Workgroup stable," she says.
Moore holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Enterprise Management and a BA
(Philosophy and Political studies).
