Telkom hasn't concluded any deals with Vodafone, looking to buy out Vodacom, or with the consortium seeking to buy the rest of Telkom's operations, but it's still talking.

The company today released a statement renewing its previous cautionary, stating that the talks are ongoing.
The negotiations with Vodafone centre around a non-binding proposal to acquire some or all of Telkom's stake in Vodacom.
This, however, is subject to Telkom unbundling the rest of its Vodacom stake to Telkom shareholders.
Meanwhile, a consortium comprising Mvelaphanda Holdings, affiliated funds of Och-Ziff Capital Management Group and other strategic funders is considering making an offer for the entire issued share capital of Telkom subject to a number of pre-conditions.
