Vodacom has increased its revenue by 14,5% for the quarter ended 30 June, while increasing its customers by 6,6% to 34,6-million.
These customers are across the group's networks, operating in South Africa, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lesotho and Mozambique.
It now boasts 24,82-million customers in South Africa. Of these, 3, 54-million are on contract and 21,17-million are pre-paid.
Vodacom`s non-South African operations increased their total customer base by 5,4% in the last quarter to 9,7-million customers.
