With SITA (State IT Agency) still silent on whether Lllewellyn Jones has in fact resigned as CEO, the word on the floor at GovTech is that Peter Pedlar, currently chief of regulatory affairs and procurement, will be appointed to the acting-CEO position.

Delegates to the SITA conference are still being kept in the dark about whether Jones has resigned, and if his resignation has been accepted.
What is certain is that discussions have been taking place, but it appears that no decisions have yet been reached – or that they will only be announced once the conference is over.
In the meantime, delegates seem to be agreed that Pedlar is the most likely candidate to run the agency in either a caretaker or full-time capacity.
