Neotel is ready to start talking to the broad public and will next week start flighting an advertising campaign designed to give the telecommunications operator greater visibility in the market.

The new campaign focuses on how Neotel services can liberate consumers from the constraints they are accustomed to.
Neotel launched its consumer services in Gauteng in May, in Cape Town last week, and in Durban yesterday.
MD Ajay Pandey explains that these three metropolitan areas allow it eventually reach about 60% of the population.
Although the coverage in these areas has started off limited, Neotel is adding base stations almost daily – within the last two days seven new base stations have gone live in Durban; and Gauteng has already doubled its base stations since launch, from 22 to over 50.
