Good news from listed ICT companies continues unabated, with both MTN and EOH announcing that earnings will be well above last year's levels.

MTN is finalising its financial results for the six-month period that ended on 30 June 2008, and expects to announce an increase of between 9% and 14% in basic headline earnings per share, as well as an increase of between 23,3% and 28,3% in adjusted headline earnings per share.
Attributable earnings per share are expected to increase by between 9,5% and 14,5% over the corresponding period one year ago.
Meanwhile, EOH has announced that a review of the financial results for the year ended 31 July 2008 has indicated that earnings per share and headline earnings per share are expected to be between 20% and 30% higher than those in the previous corresponding period.
