Workgroup scores hat trick at Microsoft Partner Summit

Local specialist distributor, Workgroup, has been named Microsoft's
Distributor of the Year for the third year in a row.

The Distributor of the Year Award recognises Microsoft's top-performing
business partners, specifically acknowledging companies who exemplify a true
partnership through innovation.
"We will never tire of receiving accolades of this kind from Microsoft and
it is a reward made even sweeter in the knowledge that we were dedicated
enough to meet the stringent criteria, yet again," says Shirley Gottschick,
Infrastructure General Manager and Director at Workgroup.
"In order to be named Distributor of the Year, Workgroup had to achieve the
best results overall as per targets set by Microsoft. We showed ourselves to
be strongly aligned with Microsoft, its initiatives and activities and
offered high levels of service to our channel consistently over the year,
showing an increasingly proactive approach to customer satisfaction."
Workgroup has also shown consistent annual growth in sales growth with
Microsoft, proved its abilities to create new business with innovative
customer marketing programs and helped existing dealers achieve significant
revenue gains.
Doug Woolley, MD of Workgroup says that receiving this award for the third
consecutive year is a measure of recognising the effort Workgroup's
dedicated Microsoft division has put into the brand and acts as a means of
justifying the company's driven investment in resources that help grow
business through Workgroup's channel.
"Workgroup prides itself in the broad integration of its varied product
offerings," he says. "We offer scalable internal systems and a distribution
model that is comparatively top notch, a fact that we feel is reinforced
when we are given awards of this kind.
"Our aim, as always, is to reinforce this position while growing the number
of channel partners who are as loyal to the Microsoft brand as we intend to
stay."
