A young South African company, Cost Concepts, is helping companies to identify cost savings opportunities.

MD Rozlyn Ahier says that the company identifies possible savings possibilities after analysing an organisation's monthly overhead expenses, such as landline telephone, cellphones, electricity, internet, freight and stationary costs.
"We focus on indirect expenses that are not an organisation's 'core costs'. As a result, these expenses are often neglected and have significant savings potential," explains Ahier.
Ahier notes that to date, there has not been a single company that Cost Concepts has not been able to reduce monthly telecommunication expenditure by at least 9%. The greatest saving was 77% on a small construction company's Internet expenses.
Cost Concepts focuses on SMEs, and charges a percentage of savings achieved.
