A gourp of hackers, dubbing themselves the Greek Security Team, claim to have hacked the computer system guiding the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which went into action last week and could be used to create a black hole.

According to reports, the hackers say they won't disrupt the atom-smashing experiment scheduled for a few weeks' time, but left a Web page calling CERN (Europen Organisation for Nuclear Research) security experts "schoolkids".
They mocked the security around the centre's computers, claiming to have gained access via a Web site open to other scientists.
A Cern spokesman is quoted in the media as saying that no harm has been done and that the group seems to have performed their exploit simply to show that it could be done.
