iBurst has added the Tellumat Sigma small office communications system to its line-up.
With 70 000 individual and business broadband customers and a successful VoIP phone offering, iBurst's access technologies include iBurst Wireless, WiMax, ADSL and HSDPA.
"The Sigma closes a vital gap in our offering, as it brings broadband IP telephony, Internet access and networking to our business customers with more than one user, giving SMMEs that 'big-business' clout," says Thami Mtshali, CEO of iBurst.
"Tellumat is the ideal partner for us, as they've gained respect in the market as a long-standing supplier to businesses and consumers, with the technical and sales support credentials to back an excellent product."
Bennie Langenhoven, managing executive of Tellumat Telecoms, adds: "The Sigma has really taken the market by storm since its launch in 2007. It is already being offered in partnership with the country's leading telcos, including iBurst and Vox Telecom, and its success in leading BT's broadband push in the UK speaks for itself.
With a desk footprint of 20cm by 19cm by 8cm, the Sigma features and ADSL modem. secure WiFi access, a four-port network hub, two exchange lines, a DECT base station with support for four handsets, a built-in firewall, VoIP support, least-cost routing and full remote management.
iBurst will bundle the Sigma with a choice of broadband technologies and voice minutes, from this month.
