Motorola has announced the appointment of Mark Kelly as country manager for Motorola in South Africa, as well as a director of Motorola South Africa Limited.

In his new role, Kelly will support growth for Motorola's three businesses: Mobile Devices, Home & Networks Mobility and Government and Public Safety. In addition, he will continue his role as director of business for Africa, Enterprise Mobility.
Kelly has more than 25 years' experience in the enterprise mobility industry.  He joined Motorola in 2007, having been part of Motorola's acquisition of Symbol Technologies.
During his time with Symbol Technologies, Kelly looked after the business in Africa, Middle East and Israel; a position which he held since 2005. His current role focuses on driving a long term sustainable business model for Africa, by focussing on quarterly business results and business planning across the region.
Prior to joining Motorola, he was MD of Scantec, part of the Datatec Group of companies, a distribution company focusing primarily on the enterprise mobility business.
