Targeting beleagured business users, MWeb Business has launched a complete portfolio of voice services it says will offer significant cost-savings and, for the first time, it will also provide the hardware necessary to support them.

The services, under the MTalk banner, include MTalk Webcall, MTalk PABX and MTalk Mobile.
“The latest voice offering is in line with MWeb’s strategic direction of becoming a true telecoms player – offering a full range of value-added, converged communications and multimedia services over fixed-line, mobile, wireless and Internet platforms,” says Herman Jansen van Rensburg, head of product management and development at MWeb Business.
In light of the growing convergence between devices and services MWeb, he adds, aims to be a single provider of both voice and data to consumers and businesses.
“Telecoms and technology providers are increasingly offering a single service to benefit their customers," Jansen van Rensburg says. "MWeb Business is ideally placed to offer customers all the benefits of dealing with one company for all their communication needs.”
Webcall is a range of VoIP packages offering bundled minutes and benefits; Mobile a range of packages offering mobile phones and cellular connectivity tailored for the business market; and PABX is a state of the art hardware solution to support customer’s VoIP/voice service.
The company, Jansen van Rensburg says, will supply, install and maintain the hardware, such as PABXs for the above services.
