SAS Institute South Africa will be hosting international retail guru Alexi Sarnevitz later this month, where he will examine international retailing trends and look at ways that these lessons can be applied to the South African environment.

Alexi, who is the senior director of Retail Strategy for the SAS Global Retail Practice is based in the USA, and will be speaking at the 10th annual ECR Conference, which is South Africa's premier retail event. He will also be interacting with South African retailers at two high profile breakfast presentations hosted by SAS, one in Cape Town at the Radisson Waterfront on 30 of October and the other in Johannesburg at the Michelangelo in Sandton on 31 of October.
As a renowned retail industry thought-leader, Alexi believes that successful retailers today are only just beginning to truly understand their customers.
